Learn how 10th Magnitude helped a National Senior Living Community complete a full failover and failback of seven production systems.
Challenge:
This national senior living community wished to evolve their IT go-to-market strategy by implementing Cloud Services to help satisfy their broader enterprise goals of optimizing their business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) plans. To ensure the company selected a solution that was compatible with their internal systems and met the needs of business, they explored various protection methods and service platforms.
Solution:
The 10th Magnitude team delivered a targeted a Pilot using Azure Disaster Recovery (ASR). The POC included technical deep-dive sessions focused on Azure Governance, the deployment of ASR components, and the failover/failback functionality. Collaborative workshops were scheduled to qualify protection candidates and configure workload replication.
Results:
Working in partnership, 10th Magnitude and this national senior living community completed a full failover and failback of seven production systems.
The failover included user acceptance testing (UAT) sign off. The team was also able to validate ASR as a valid solution to protect and recover workloads to the Azure cloud. During the deployment, their team was educated on the fundamentals of ASR and Azure Networking.
